Good Management
As a project manager, I find that having a strong understanding of the technology we’re using is a huge advantage. It allows me to communicate more effectively with the technical team and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and that expectations are aligned. When I know the ins and outs of the tech, I can anticipate challenges, make smarter decisions, and offer meaningful input on timelines and resource allocation. It also means I can troubleshoot issues or at least help brainstorm solutions without causing unnecessary delays. By understanding the technology, I can better assess the team’s workload and capabilities, making it easier to keep the project on track and ensure we’re working as efficiently as possible.
